SKINVIVE in Utah, for the skin itself
Botox relaxes muscle. Filler rebuilds structure. Neither does much for the skin on top. SKINVIVE places hyaluronic acid in the skin itself, for smoother cheeks and, since June 2026, softer lines across the neck.

What SKINVIVE is approved for
- Cheek skin smoothness, in adults, since 2023. Skin that looks rough, crepey or dull rather than lined or hollow.
- Neck lines, in adults over 21, since June 2026. The first and only hyaluronic acid injectable approved to reduce horizontal neck lines, the ones that come with time and with looking down at a phone.
Outside those two, it is off label, and I will tell you when we are there. It is not a lip product, it does not add volume, and it will not fix a hollow under the eye.
How it works
Tiny droplets, in the skin, not under it
SKINVIVE is a smooth hyaluronic acid gel with lidocaine, placed as microdroplets with an ultrafine needle or cannula into the skin itself. Hyaluronic acid holds water, so the skin it sits in looks smoother and more hydrated. Because it is so finely spread, it does not change shape the way filler does.
It is quick, the bumps settle in a few days, and the change shows within weeks. It pairs well with Botox for lines that come from movement and with Sculptra for skin that has thinned. Individual results vary.
Straight answers
SKINVIVE questions, answered straight
Is SKINVIVE a filler?
It is made of hyaluronic acid, the same family as filler, but it does a different job. Filler is placed deep to add structure. SKINVIVE is placed in tiny droplets in the skin itself to make it smoother and more hydrated. It will not lift a cheek or fill a hollow, and it is not meant to.
Can neck lines be reduced?
The horizontal ones, often, yes. In June 2026 SKINVIVE became the first and only hyaluronic acid injectable FDA approved to reduce neck lines, in adults over 21. It softens them rather than erasing them. The vertical cords some people get in the neck are muscle, and those are a neurotoxin question instead.
How long does SKINVIVE last?
About six months with optimal treatment, which can include a touch up at one month. That is shorter than filler, because it is doing a different job in a more active layer of skin. Individual results vary.
What is recovery like?
Small bumps where the droplets went in, which settle within a few days, and possibly some bruising. Most people go back to their day. Plan it at least two weeks before anything you are photographing.
SKINVIVE or Sculptra?
Different timescales for different problems. SKINVIVE improves the surface: smoothness and hydration, seen within weeks, lasting about six months. Sculptra rebuilds thickness underneath over a few months and lasts longer. Skin that is thinning and dull can use both.
Does it work with Botox and filler?
Yes, and that is often the best use of it. Neurotoxin softens the lines that come from movement, filler restores structure, and SKINVIVE improves the skin sitting over both. Which of the three you actually need is the useful conversation.

Do I need Botox or filler?
One relaxes muscle, the other adds structure. A thirty second test in a mirror usually tells you which problem you have.
How much does Botox cost in Utah?
Per unit and per area pricing answer different questions, and the cheapest per unit number is frequently the most expensive way to buy a result.
