Botox for American Fork, and what a license actually tells you
I treat in Lehi on Fridays, about ten minutes north up I 15. Before you book anywhere in Utah County, here is the thing most people do not know how to ask about.
Worth knowing in Utah County
Who injects you and who is responsible are two different questions
In Utah, as in most states, injectables are commonly administered by registered nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants working under a physician. That arrangement is entirely legitimate and a great deal of excellent injecting happens within it.
What varies enormously is what the arrangement means in practice. At one end, a physician is present, assesses complicated cases, and is reachable within minutes when something goes wrong. At the other, the supervising physician is a name on a document who has never been in the building. Both satisfy the paperwork. They are not the same service, and nothing on the wall distinguishes them.
So the useful question is not what credential the person holds. It is: who plans my treatment, who injects it, are those the same person, and who do I reach at nine on a Saturday night if something is not right?
I am the person in all four answers. That is not a claim that a nurse injector cannot be excellent. Many are, and I train them. It is a claim that you should know the answer before you sit down, not after.

American Fork questions
How far is the Lehi clinic from American Fork?
About ten minutes north on I 15. The clinic is at 139 N Hunter’s Grove Ln, Suite 125 in Lehi, inside The Injector Collective, with parking on site.
Is a doctor better than a nurse injector?
Not automatically, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. Skill in this field comes from how many of a specific treatment someone does and how carefully they plan it. What a physician adds is that assessment, planning and management of anything unexpected sit with one person rather than being handed off.
Can I be seen on a day other than Friday?
Not in Lehi. The Draper clinic runs Mondays and Wednesdays and is about twenty five minutes north, which is worth knowing if the Friday list is full or you need to be seen sooner.
What should I ask before booking anywhere?
Four things: who will plan the treatment, who will inject it, how many of this specific treatment they do in a month, and what happens if the result is not what either of you expected. The answers differ far more between practices than prices do.
